About Us
The dream started in 2009, when founder Gustavo Ometto Lambertucci first set foot in the metalworking industry. Still a mechanical engineering student at the time, he began as a quality inspector's assistant at a company in Piracicaba, São Paulo, where he was struck by the industry's ability to turn steel into large structures and equipment.
The dream was to build a company that worked differently from the rest - with an organisational culture aligned to personal and professional values, recognition and growth opportunities for everyone, real teamwork, and solutions delivered with high quality and efficiency.
After 13 years of learning, teaching, specialising and reaching senior positions in industry, the dream became reality in early 2022 with the founding of XP Soluções Industriais, on a mission to deliver services and train welding professionals with high quality and reliability.

More than 16 years of experience in mid-size and large metalworking industries, with a solid track record in manufacturing (welding) engineering, quality control and executive roles, across oil and gas, sugar and ethanol, metalworking and power generation.
Hands-on experience fabricating pressure vessels, offshore structures (christmas trees, manifolds, PLET, PLEM, ESDV), piping (clad and unclad), evaporators, heat exchangers, fermenters and transformers.
Working knowledge of ASME II, VIII and IX, AWS D1.1 and D1.6, ISO 15614-1, DNVGL-ST-F101 and DNVGL-RP-B204, with experience in carbon steels, high-strength low-alloy steels, stainless steels (super-austenitic, ferritic, martensitic and super duplex), Inconel, Hastelloy, aluminium and copper - including sour service (H2S) requirements and corrosion protection processes. Welding processes covered: GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW and PAW.
